Report: WTAM, Indians Reach Renewal Deal

A report in the ELYRIA CHRONICLE-TELEGRAM says that CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WTAM-A/CLEVELAND has retained the rights to air CLEVELAND INDIANS baseball, fending off a challenge by crosstown CBS RADIO Sports WKRK (92.3 THE FAN).

The paper's CHRIS ASSENHEIMER said that the INDIANS and WTAM have reached a five-year agreement, with "an announcement... expected in the coming days."  WTAM has been the TRIBE's flagship since 1998.
