Bill Bungeroth Exits Cumulus San Francisco

ALL ACCESS has confirmed that CUMULUS/SAN FRANCISCO SVP/Market Manager BILL BUNGEROTH has exited the cluster.  The departure was first reported by RICH LIEBERMAN at 415 MEDIA.  

BUNGEROTH's tenure at the cluster included the controversial flip of longtime market leader KGO-A to mostly News.  He took over the cluster in MARCH 2011, returning at the time to CUMULUS, where he served as President under previous ownership, after taking part in the launch of 24/7 COMEDY RADIO.

But ALL ACCESS has been told that, contrary to other reports, CUMULUS SVP GARY PIZZATI will not be taking over formally as Market Manager for the cluster.
