WLS' Don Wade Recovering 'Really Well' From Brain Surgery

CUMULUS Talk WLS-A/CHICAGO morning co-host DON WADE is recovering "really well" from brain surgery, his agent ELLIOTT EPHRAIM told TIME OUT CHICAGO's ROBERT FEDER.  WADE had a growth removed from his brain on THURSDAY (9/27), and was released from the hospital on SATURDAY; he will be recovering at home for several weeks.

WLS has set up an email account for get-well wishes at getwelldon@gmail.com, and Operations Director DREW HAYES told FEDER that the outpouring of goodwill from fans shows that "DON has touched them not just as a radio guy but as a person, as a human being. It’s amazing.”  He said that WADE's wife and co-host ROMA plans to "go through every last message."
