Darius Rucker Invited To Join The Grand Ole Opry

CAPITOL NASHVILLE artist DARIUS RUCKER got the surprise of his life LAST NIGHT (10/2) when he was answering questions from the audience after his performance at the GRAND OLE OPRY. OPRY member and ARISTA NASHVILLE artist BRAD PAISLEY used his question to ask RUCKER if he would like to be the newest member of the GRAND OLE OPRY.

DARIUS’ official induction ceremony into the OPRY will take place on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16th.

“We are extremely excited that DARIUS will be joining our OPRY family,” said OPRY VP/GM PETE FISHER. “He’s forged an incredible, diverse musical path which has led today to the top of the Country charts. It’s been clear from the moment DARIUS first stepped on our stage in 2008 in what high regard he holds the GRAND OLE OPRY and similarly how much OPRY fans love DARIUS’ music.
