KKIQ/KKDV Gets Wayne Coy Back for Mornings

COAST RADIO COMPANY Hot AC KKIQ and AC KKDV/SAN FRANCISCO brings back longtime programmer and former morning man WAYNE COY to reassume wakeup duties, reuniting with co-host DON POTTER. COY left the station last NOVEMBER to focus on his entertainment management company, WAYNE COY PRODUCTIONS, which he will continue to run.

"I will still be involved and oversee the business, but this time away proved to me that being on the air is too much of a passion to walk away from right now," COY said. "I am happy that they have asked me to come back. I really have missed the daily fun and connection with our listeners and the station staff. And there really is no place like home."

His show debuts on Monday, OCT. 8th, and be simulcast on both stations. Regarding the readjustment to those early morning show hours, COY noted, "retirement and sleep are both overrated!"
