On THURSDAY evening, SEPTEMBER 27th, the COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR presented the very first “CRS BATTLE OF THE BANDS,” at 3rd & LINDSLEY in NASHVILLE in a benefit for the COUNTRY DJ HALL OF FAME. Over $31,000 was raised for the cause and it was a big night at label heads and executives from MUSIC ROW record labels were able to become rock stars for a night.
Competing for the prize were UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP (UMG), WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE, BROKEN BOW RECORDS (BBR), and CAPITOL NASHVILLE, with UMG’s group, TINY HUGE CITY, winning the night.
The CRS has produced a capsule video featuring highlights from the night and it’s definitely worth checking out here.
