The HOUSTON ASTROS announced THURSDAY that the club will not be renewing the contracts of radio broadcasters BRETT DOLAN and DAVE RAYMOND for next season. DOLAN and RAYMOND have been calling the ASTROS games since 2006 along MILO HAMILTON, the Hall of Famer who is retiring at the end of this season.
“We appreciate the work BRETT and DAVE have done for us over the past seven seasons, and wish them well,” said ASTROS Pres./CEO GEORGE POSTOLOS. “We are excited to begin the search for the new radio broadcast team of the ASTROS, and look forward to finding a great talent to succeed MILO.”
The ASTROS will move to the AMERICAN LEAGUE in 2013.
