Longtime NEW YORK KNICKS radio color commentator JOHN ANDARIESE has resigned, the team has announced. ANDARIESE,has been calling KNICKS games on radio or TV since 1972 and said in a release that "I’ve decided it’s time to step away to spend time with my wonderful wife, MAUREEN, my three beautiful daughters and my four grandchildren." He will continue to serve as CEO of ad sales company TVi MEDIA LLC.
BRENDAN BROWN, who has filled in for ANDARIESE and has been on the broadcasts as a contributor since 2008, will take ANDARIESE's role as analyst on the KNICKS broadcasts, which air via MSG NETWORK on ESPN Sports WEPN-F (ESPN NEW YORK 98.7 FM)/NEW YORK.
