The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) has announced the winners of the CMA BROADCAST AWARDS. The winners were called TODAY (10/8) by ARISTA NASHVILLE artist BRAD PAISLEY and BROKEN BOW RECORDS (BBR) artist JASON ALDEAN.
"CMA knows the importance of Country radio to our genre,” said CMA Chief Executive Officer STEVE MOORE. “We’ve spent 2012 highlighting the hard work of these radio professionals, and we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on our best and brightest – the CMA BROADCAST AWARD winners.”
The CMA BROADCAST PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR and CMA RADIO STATION OF THE YEAR recipients will be recognized during the 46th ANNUAL CMA AWARDS on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1st at 8p (ET/PT) on ABC TV.
This year’s CMA BROADCAST PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR winners are:
National – LON HELTON- CMT’S COUNTRY COUNTDOWN USA
Major Market – DONNA VALENTINE and MIKE MUSSMAN- KEEY/MINNEAPOLIS, MN
Large Market – RANDY CARROLL and JAMIE MARTIN – KAJA/SAN ANTONIO, TX
Medium Market – TOM O’BRIEN, ROGER TODD, MELISSA MORAN- WPCV/LAKELAND, FL
Small Market – BILL POINDEXTER and MELISSA TURNER- WUSY/CHATANOOGA, TN2012 CMA Radio Station of the Year Winners:
