CLEAR CHANNEL MEDIA Country WMZQ/ WASHINGTON morning team, “THE BOXER SHOW,” held a one-hour auction on TUESDAY (10/2) to benefit “Youth For Tomorrow.” The charity was formed by JOE GIBBS, former WASHINGTON REDSKINS head coach, and helps boys and girls who have been abused or abandoned by their family, are homeless, expelled from public schools or are in need of therapeutic intervention to address mental health issues.
BOXER and his team auctioned off a LAS VEGAS NASCAR weekend getaway that included airfare, hotel accommodations and tickets to all the NASCAR events. That item drew a bid of $3,700 within the hour. The total raised from TUESDAY’s auction was $4,000 and all proceeds go to the charity.
“Just another amazing charity fund raising story from WASHINGTON D.C. This community loves to give!” THE BOXER SHOW Exec. Producer MARK LAVIN told ALL ACCESS.
