New 'Daniels And Diaz' Handles Mornings In Louisville

COX MEDIA GROUP Country WQNU (Q 103.1)/LOUISVILLE debuted its new morning show “DANIELS AND DIAZ” at 5a (ET) on MONDAY (10/1).

KRIS DANIELS, who is also the station’s MD, has been hosting WQNU mornings since 2008. After a week-long stunt of several celebrity guest co-hosts, including RCA NASHVILLE artist JAKE OWEN and BLACK RIVER ENTERTAINMENT artist KELLIE PICKLER, CHRIS DIAZ was officially named WQNU’s new morning co-host.

“We launched a nation-wide search for KRIS’ co-host and found that the best guy for the job was right here in LOUISVILLE. We are super-excited to show off what “DANIELS AND DIAZ” will be able to do together for morning radio in this city,” said WQNU OM SHANE COLLINS. 

DIAZ was most recently Imaging Dir. and hosting nights at CLEAR CHANNELMEDIA Top 40 WNRW (98.9 RADIO NOW)/LOUISVILLE, until the company’s downsizing earlier this year (NET NEWS 3/30).
