After nearly nine years as APD/"stunt boy" on CCM+E Top 40 WRVW (107.5 THE RIVER)/NASHVILLE's WOODY & JIM morning show, as well as night personality, INTERN ADAM was let go today.
INTERN ADAM had been off the air for nine weeks following the filing of lawsuit against the NASHVILLE PREDATORS hockey team, for damages and injuries he sustained while serving as a human hockey puck during a between-period promotion, on DECEMBER 13th, 2011.
As a result of the stunt, ADAM broke his right ankle had two permanents screws implanted plus had months of physical therapy to regain mobility. The lawsuit is still pending.
ADAM told ALL ACCESS, "It's been a very emotional nine weeks being in limbo and not knowing my future. But now it's certain that I can find a microphone somewhere else, be it in NASHVILLE or wherever, and continue to bring the entertainment that INTERN ADAM has provided for years.
"I want to thank my family and friends at CLEAR CHANNEL/NASHVILLE. Big thanks to former (OM/PD) RICH DAVIS (now PD at KDWB/MINNEAPOLIS) for believing in me from the start. Also to WOODY & JIM for letting me annoy them each morning and to (OM) MICHAEL BRYAN, (WRVW PD) BRIAN MACK and (VP/GM) DAN ENDOM for believing in me and my talents enough to promote me and letting me entertain."
