SALEM RADIO NETWORK host MIKE GALLAGHER will moderate a presidential debate ... but the candidates won't be there. The "debate" being recorded TONIGHT at the UNIVERSITY OF NORTH FLORIDA will be a “virtual” contest using clips from previous speeches and interviews given by President OBAMA and MITT ROMNEY, edited into "answers" to questions posed by GALLAGHER. The result will be aired as a webcast, "We The People Presidential Debate -- 'In Their Own Words'," on OCTOBER 23rd, available at BigVoicesMedia.com and via ROKU boxes and smartphones.
"Many listeners and viewers complain that the 2012 Presidential debates are ‘orchestrated’ by the elite Commission on Presidential Debates in direct coordination with the campaigns. They are not really debates," said BIG VOICES MEDIA CEO BILLIE TUCKER. "The voting public needs the simple unguarded facts and truth. And that is exactly what they will see on OCTOBER 23rd."
