TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Sports WENJ-A/ATLANTIC CITY is dropping its simulcast of sister Sports WENJ-F (97.3 ESPN)/MILLVILLE-ATLANTIC CITY and flipping to a Talk format MONDAY, OCT. 22nd, as WPGG, headed by PD/Brand Manager CHRIS COLEMAN and local talker HARRY HURLEY, who will do mornings and serve as senior programming consultant.
The new format, dubbed "WPG TALK RADIO 1450" (using call letters once used by a station on 1100 AM owned by the city of ATLANTIC CITY, later sold and eventually moved and merged into other stations), will include HURLEY in the morning, followed by PREMIERE's GLENN BECK 10a-1p, a local show to be named later 1-3p, PREMIERE's SEAN HANNITY 3-6p, CUMULUS MEDIA NETWORKS' MARK LEVIN 6-9p, CUMULUS' JOHN BATCHELOR 9p-1a, and CUMULUS' "RED EYE RADIO" overnights. The FM station will continue to air the Sports format.
