Reaffirming earlier pledges to better identify the music and artists played on CBS RADIO stations and strengthen their relationship with the labels, CBS RADIO Pres. DAN MASON, EVP/Operations SCOTT HERMAN and its senior programming team will soon meet with representatives from the major music companies in NEW YORK CITY. The goal of the meetings is to discuss how both parties can work together to continue to elevate and promote music and music discovery, as well as amplify the interaction between listeners and their artists.
"This type of collaboration yields big results," MASON said. "We have great assets to help promote established and up and coming artists, and we’re excited to learn more about the labels’ vision and long-term priorities."
Since inheriting the top post at CBS RADIO, MASON has been a passionately advocate of strengthening radio’s relationship with the record labels to the benefit of listeners and artists.
