  UNIVERSAL MUSIC PUBLISHING GROUP SVP/Head of Business & Legal Affairs DAVID KOKAKIS and UMPG NORTH AMERICA Pres. EVAN LAMBERG announced TODAY (10/16) that KENT KLAVENS has been appointed SVP, Business and Legal Affairs.
  KLAVENS will be based in SANTA MONICA at the company’s headquarters, and report directly to KOKAKIS. Prior to joining UMPG, KENT KLAVENS spent 17 years at VIACOM’s “FAMOUS MUSIC” division until 2007 when it was sold to SONY/ATV MUSIC PUBLISHING.
