Rick Gibbons To Host Middays On CFRA

Former OTTAWA SUN Publisher RICK GIBBONS, who left the paper after 24 years in SEPTEMBER, is returning to radio as host of the noon-3p show on BELL MEDIA RADIO Talk CFRA-A/OTTAWA, starting MONDAY (10/22).  The show will replace the "OTTAWA NOON" midday news block and incorporate that show's "Lunch Bunch" segment at 12:20p, and will also replace "RON CORBETT - UNSCRIPTED," which presently airs 1-2p, and the 2-3p hour of "ROB SNOW'S AFTERNOON EDITION."

"I’m very excited to be getting back in touch directly with the people of OTTAWA, and allowing them to have their say,” said GIBBONS. “On top of the call-in portion of the show, we’ll be interacting through social media so that all the people of OTTAWA are part of the show and talking to each other.”
