DISPATCH/RADIOHIO Sports WBNS-F (971 THE FAN)/COLUMBUS has indefinitely suspended "THE COMMON MAN AND THE TORG" co-host SCOTT TORGERSON over his tweet criticizing ESPN commentator and former MICHIGAN Heisman Trophy winner DESMOND HOWARD, reports AWFUL ANNOUNCING.
On SATURDAY, TORGERSON tweeted, "I wish DESMOND HOWARD would get fired or die so I can watch GAMEDAY again." The tweet went viral and the station has now suspended TORGERSON while fellow FAN host and ESPN analyst KIRK HERBSTREIT criticized TORGERSON for the tweet, calling it "sickening." THE FAN is an ESPN affiliate.
