FCC Proposes $6K Fine Vs. WRUM/Orlando For Phone Prank

CLEAR CHANNEL has been hit with a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture of $6,000. by the FCC for a prank played by its Spanish Tropical WRUM (RUMBA 100.3)/ORLANDO against rival MEGA COMMUNICATIONS Spanish Top 40 WNUE (MEGA 98.1). WRUM allegedly gave out WNUE's phone number and told listeners to call it and say the WRUM morning show's name ("JOHN MUSA y Los Anormales de la Manana") to win $1,000.
