WENDY STEELE is selling her 100% interest in RADIO KINGS BAY, INC., licensee of Country WKBX (K-BAY 106)/KINGSLAND, GA, to NEAL and ELIZABETH ARDMAN (50% and 25%, respectively) and JORDAN and JACQUELINE GALLUP (12.5% each) for $550,000. STEELE co-owned the station with her late husband JIM STEELE, who died in NOVEMBER 2011 (NET NEWS 11/29/11).
In other filings with the FCC, DIGITAL RADIO BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translators W219DQ/DILLYVILLE, NY and W220EG/NEW CITY, NY to AURICLE COMMUNICATIONS for $125,000. The translators will rebroadcast the buyer's noncommercial WMFU/MOUNT HOPE, NY (simulcast of Variety WFMU/EAST ORANGE, NJ-NEW YORK).
LARHARPOL LLC has requested a Silent STA for KBDF/DIAMOND LAKE, OR.in response to a Notice of Unlicensed Radio Operation from the Commission.
GANNON BROADCASTING SYSTEMS, INC. has closed on the sale of Adult Standards WGRY-A and Country WGRY-F (Y100)/GRAYLING, MI and AC WQON (DECADES 101)/ROSCOMMON, MI to SHERYL and GERALD COYNE's BLARNEY STONE BROADCASTING, INC. for $425,000.
MEADOWS BROADCASTING LLC has closed on the sale of Talk KZZQ/RICHARDTON, ND to REAL PRESENCE RADIO for $300,000.
And CALVARY OF ALBUQUERQUE, INC. has closed on the sale of FM translator K201CY/CLOVIS, NM to GRACE COMMUNITY CHURCH OF AMARILLO for $18,000.
Also, BMP AUSTIN LICENSE COMPANY, L.P. has closed on the sale of Contemporary Christian KVLR (K-LOVE, formerly Spanish Sports KXXS)/ELGIN, TX-AUSTIN to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $750,000. The closing has not showed up in the FCC database as of THURSDAY (10/18). GREG GUY of PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS served as exclusive broker for the deal.
