Karen McLellan To Warner Music Australia

REPRISE NEW YORK rep KAREN MCLELLAN heads to the other side of the planet to become NSW Promotions Manager-International for WARNER MUSIC AUSTRALIA. She takes over temporarily for WMA staffer MANDY PERRY, who is going on maternity leave. 

WMA Director of National Promotions DAN NITSCHKE made the announcement and commented, "This is a unique, exciting proposition for the company and an appointment which I'm sure will add to what is an already dynamic promotions team."

MCLELLAN began her career as a Promotion Assistant at EMI RECORDS before moving to JIVE RECORDS, where she worked her way up to the position of National Director of Adult Formats and Top 40 Radio. After 8 years with JIVE, she moved on to BEYOND MUSIC as East Coast National Director of Promotion before joining REPRISE, where she's been the NYC-based Promo Manager for the past 6 years.

MCLELLAN officially begins her new position on JUNE 26th. She is currently trying to figure out how to position her satellite dish to watch PHILADELPHIA EAGLES games down under.
