SPOTIFY GM/Distribution & Partnerships GERRIT MEIER has exited after a year with the company to "to embark on a new venture."

MEIER was previously at CLEAR CHANNEL as COO of their digital division.

MEIER told MUSICWEEK that "the new venture idea that he is pursuing will involve a few existing companies as partners as part of a European-focused endeavor."
