Spotlights The Bakersfield Sound

THE COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM will be featuring a spotlight on the exhibition of “THE BAKERSFIELD SOUND: BUCK OWENS, MERLE HAGGARD, AND CALIFORNIA COUNTRY” on SATURDAY and SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10th and 11th. Several events will take place to recognize and highlight the exhibit such as a family program where kids create an art project inspired by BAKERSFIELD SOUND stage, as well as a songwriter session with BUDDY MIZE and an interview with BUCK OWENS’ family. All events surrounding the exhibit will be included with admission and free for MUSEUM members.

As reported on ALL ACCESS, (NET NEWS 2/21) the exhibit will be open for a total of 21 months, from MARCH of 2012 to DECEMBER of 2013.
