KMXB's Mercedes Martinez Receives 'Vegas Gives' Honors

CBS RADIO Hot AC KMXB (MIX 94.1)/LAS VEGAS' MERCEDES MARTINEZ of MARK AND MERCEDES IN THE MORNING has been selected by VEGAS MAGAZINE as one of their 2012 "VEGAS GIVES" honorees to be recognized on TUESDAY (NOVEMBER 13th at THE SHOPPES AT THE PALAZZO.

Each year, VEGAS MAGAZINE selects eight charitable women to receive the award to honor the difference they have made in the LAS VEGAS community.

According to MIX 94.1 PD CHARESE FRUGE', "I am Super Proud of MERCEDES. She does an amazing job of representing MIX 94.1 and ‘MARK AND MERCEDES IN THE MORNING' in the community and gives so much of her free time to make us look good. She deserves the recognition and appreciation."

MERCEDES commented, "I'm honored to be selected as a VEGAS GIVES honoree. All of the honorees are women that I admire for all that they do to make LAS VEGAS the amazing city that it is. To be included in this great group is truly humbling. I want to thank VEGAS MAGAZINE for the recognition and the opportunity to help a wonderful charity, GOODIE TWO SHOES. I'm also extremely grateful to MIX 94.1 for giving me a platform so that I may do all I can to make a difference in this community."

Tickets purchased in MERCEDES name will benefit her charity of choice, "THE GOODIE TWO SHOES FOUNDATION" which provides children with shoes, socks, and other essential items for good health and positive development.
