Look for SHAMROCK COMMUNICATIONS to fire up a new Talk station for the RENO market with the launch of "KNEWS" on KNEZ/FERNLEY-RENO, NV TOMORROW (10/23). UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA WOLFPACK football broadcaster SEAN PATRICK will serve as News Director and afternoon host, and the lineup will include PREMIERE's GLENN BECK, TALK RADIO NETWORK's RUSTY HUMPHRIES (a former host at crosstown KKOH-A), CUMULUS MEDIA NETWORKS' MIKE HUCKABEE, and DIAL GLOBAL's MICHAEL SMERCONISH.
“There’s too much confrontation on the airwaves and not enough conversation. We will bring a much more level headed conversational tone to political talk. Neither side is 100% right nor 100% wrong,” said PATRICK. “We want you to be a part of the conversation. KNEWS RENO is The Conversation Station!”
The station aired a Classic Rock format before launching an all-MICHAEL JACKSON "107.3 KING OF POP RADIO" stunt last THURSDAY. It will be the first of what ALL ACCESS hears will be four new FM formats SHAMROCK is bringing to the RENO market.
