WWST's Frank Murphy Wins Comedy Club Competition For Charity

Twelve KNOXVILLE media personalities, including eight from radio, performed stand-up comedy routines on SUNDAY night at SIDE SPLITTERS COMEDY CLUB's third annual "Host with the Most" Competition. Each performer earned $25 for the charity of their choice. The winner, as determined by audience vote, earned 90% of the ticket proceeds for their charity.

The winner was JOURNAL Top 40 WWST (STAR 102.1)/KNOXVILLE morning co-host FRANK MURPHY, who earned over $2,000 for the COLUMBUS HOME CHILDREN's EMERGENCY SHELTER.
