Bears, WBBM-A Ink New Multiyear Deal

CBS RADIO News WBBM-A-WCFS (NEWSRADIO 780 & 105.9FM)/CHICAGO have inked a multi-year renewal agreement to keep CHICAGO BEARS game broadcasts on the station and add feature coverage across the full CBS cluster, including Sports WSCR-A (670 THE SCORE), Top 40/Rhythmic WBBM-F (B96), Classic Hits WJMK (104.3 K-HITS), Country WUSN (US 99.5), and Triple A WXRT. The BEARS have aired on WBBM since 2000. JEFF JONIAK and TOM THAYER continue to call the games, with ZACH ZAIDMAN as sideline reporter.

The new deal also gives the BEARS he ability to launch a team radio station on WCFS 105.9’s HD3 channel.
