Former Senator and ARKANSAS Governor DAVID PRYOR has been nominated for an open Democratic seat on the board of the CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING. PRYOR was nominated by President BUSH and recommended by Senate Minority Leader HARRY REID, and will serve through 2008 if confirmed.
Also to be nominated for open seats on the board: KQED/SAN FRANCISCO board member and longtime publishing executive CHRIS BOSKIN and NATIONAL REVIEW writer and TV sitcom writer/producer WARREN BELL.
