Inquiries Down, Complaints Up At FCC For Radio And TV In Q3

The FCC has released its quarterly report of consumer inquiries and informal complaints for third quarter 2012, and it showed he number of radio and TV inquiries decreasing by over 24%, from 3,444 to 2,608, primarily due to a decrease in programming inquiries.
Complaints, on the other hand, increased over 24% from 2,183 to 2,714, due to an increase in complaints falling into the "Other Programming issues" area.
Overall, inquiries for the top four categories fell almost 8% to 13,074, and complaints fell over 14% to 75,453.
