WFUZ Rebrands As 'Fuzz 92.1'

Formerly FM 92.1

SHAMROCK COMMUNICATIONS Alternative WFUZ/WILKES BARRE-SCRANTON rebrands as "FUZZ 92.1."  The station launched two years ago as "FM 92.1."

OM SCOTT LAUDANI had this to say about the name change. "We wanted to brand the station with more than just the frequency. In NORTHEAST PA the terrain is so mountainous that most stations run a number of translators to cover the metro. WFUZ has three different frequencies, so we felt a a station name would ultimately help the FUZ brand. FUZZ was pretty much staring us in the face."

Also, Production Director DUFFY has added afternoons on FUZZ 92.1

And, WFUZ is now online at FUZZ921.com.
