Promotion Vet Mitch McCracken Releases Book About His 'Radio Daze'

Radio and Record Promotion veteran MITCH MCCRACKEN has released a book called "RADIO DAZE 1970-1976: WHEN DJ'S COULD PLAY WHAT THEY WANTED TO PLAY AND SAY WHAT THEY WANTED TO PLAY." The book is both a biography and inside perspective of some of the early Rock Radio personalities.

MCCRACKEN says "I've been in radio all my adult life and played Classic Rock before it was Classic. It was just Rock." MCCRAKEN has been a PD, MD, Promotions and Research Director and On-Air Personality in markets like MEMPHIS, NEW ORLEANS and LAS VEGAS and also did local record promotion for ABC RECORDS and national promotion for FRETONE RECORDS.
