NEW YORK STATE SUPREME COURT Justice DEBORAH KARALUNAS has refused a request from CUMULUS MEDIA to issue a temporary restraining order that would have prevented morning hosts HUNTER SCOTT and JOSH GROSVENT from doing their show on GALAXY COMMUNICATIONS Active Rock WKRL (K-ROCK)/SYRACUSE, reports SYRACUSE.COM. Cumulus Media requested the temporary restraining order on SCOTT and HUNTER, who resigned from Active Rocker WAQX(95 X)/SYRACUSE on TUESDAY, OCT. 16.

KARALUNAS also ruled that the duo cannot use three phrases she said they coined on the air at 95X: "Beer Friday," "The Show" and "Chalk Dust" -- and said they cannot solicit other employees of CUMULUS.

The next court date for CUMULUS' suit is set before the same court on NOV. 21st.
