ABC-TV’s GOOD MORNING AMERICA revealed some of the first winners for the 46th Annual CMA AWARDS, which will air later TONIGHT (11/1).
Broadcasting live from NASHVILLE, among a performance from REBA and an appearance from BRAD PAISELY, GMA announced the winners of the 2012 CMA “Musical Event Of The Year” and CMA “Video Of The Year.” Event honors went to KENNY CHESNEY and TIM McGRAW for their duet “Feel Like A Rock Star” and the video award went to TOBY KEITH and director MICHAEL SALOMON for “Red Solo Cup.”
Both CHESNEY and MCGRAW will be performing on the CMA AWARDS TONIGHT. REBA will be a presenter, and PAISLEY will co-host (along with CARRIE UNDERWOOD) for the 5th year. “Video Of The Year” winner TOBY KEITH however, has been very vocal about his decision to not attend this year’s event.
The 46th Annual CMA AWARDS will broadcast live from NASHVILLE TONIGHT from 8-11p (ET/PT) on ABC-TV. Country duo LOVE AND THEFT will host a pre-event telecast of the ceremonies to begin at 6:30p (CT), streamed live at www.CMAAwards.com.
