EMF Buys Dallas-Fort Worth FM From Liberman

LIBERMAN BROADCASTING OF DALLAS LICENSE LLC is selling Spanish Top 40 KTCY (BAILA 101.7)/AZLE-DALLAS. TX to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $6 million.  EMF will install its AIR1 format on the station.  DAVID PIERCE, CCO of EMF, told ALL ACCESS, "We are excited to see AIR1 in DALLAS. Our recent additions in HOUSTON and SAN ANTONIO are already generating quite an audience!".

In other filings with the FCC, TIMES COMMUNICATIONS INC. is selling Religion WHLY-A (HOLY RADIO)/SOUTH BEND, IL to IGNACIO ZEPEDA's I.B. COMMUNICATIONS, LTD for $140,000.  The present Time Brokerage Agreement under which ST. THOMAS MORE FOUNDATION programs the station will end with the sale.

VERMONT BROADCAST ASSOCIATES, INC. is selling AC WQJQ (MAGIC 100.3)/BARTON, VT to MICHAEL PERCY's CAPITAL BROADCASTING ASSOCIATES, LLC for $25,000.

EXPONENT BROADCASTING, INC. is selling suburban ATLANTA daytimer WXJO-A/DOUGLASVILLE, GA to MONTE SINAI, INC. for $80,000 cash and a $400,000 promissory note.  The deal supplants an earlier deal between the same parties that failed to close.

LIGHT OF LIFE MINISTRIES, INC. is selling FM translator W252BT/FREEPORT, ME to BOB BITTNER's  BLUE JEY BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. for $100,000.  The translator will rebroadcast Adult Standards WJTO-A/BATH, ME.

GARFIELD COUNTY, UTAH is selling FM translator K242BJ/GARFIELD, UT to MID-UTAH RADIO, INC. for $1.

KEYHOLE BROADCASTING, LLC has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for KGCC/GILLETTE, WY because, the applicant says, "the local economy has continued to deteriorate, making it difficult to operate and staff" the station.

RIO BRAVO ENTERTAINMENT, LLC has closed on the transfer of FM translator K261DW/HENLY, TX to JONAH CREEK MISSIONS for no consideration.

MANNING BROADCASTING INC. has closed on the $6.4 million purchase of Top 40 WAFY/FREDERICK, MD and Talk WARK-A and Classic Hits WWEG (106.9 THE EAGLE)/HAGERSTOWN, MD from NASSAU BROADCASTING in a bankruptcy sale.

The transfer of Country WBBV (RIVER 101.3)/VICKSBURG, MS to HOLLADAY BROADCASTING OF LOUISIANA, LLC  by DEBUT BROADCASTING MISSISSIPPI, INC. under court order has closed.

RADIO POWER INC.has closed on the donation of FM translator W284BQ/DETROIT to FAMILY LIFE BROADCASTING SYSTEM for no consideration.  The translator, which RADIO POWER had briefly used to air a Smooth Jazz format as "104.7 THE OASIS," will rebroadcast Religion daytimer WUFL-A/STERLING HEIGHTS-DETROIT.  RADIO POWER INC. has also closed on the sale of FM translator W232CA/DETROIT to FAMILY LIFE MINISTRIES for $150,000.
