Hurricane Sandy Benefit Raises Almost $23 Million

The benefit concert aired on NBC to raise money to benefit the vicitims of Hurricane SANDY raised nearly $23 million in donations to the AMERICAN RED CROSS.
The telethon on FRIDAY (11/2) included performances by NEW JERSEY natives BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and JON BON JOVI as well as LONG ISLAND native BILLY JOEL. Other performers included STING, CHRISTINA AGUILERA and MARY J. BLIGE.
Personalities JON STEWART and TINA FEY were also a part of the show.
