Live Nation Revenues, Ticket Sales Rise In Q3 2012

LIVE NATION ENTERTAINMENT saw its Q3 concert revenues rise 11.7% on the heels of a 3.7% increase in tickets sales, as compared to the same quarter 2011. For the first nine months of 2012, concert revenue increased 5.1%, on a ticket sale increase of 3.6%
"The company has continued to execute on plan delivering increased revenue, net income and free cash flow in the third quarter of 2012," Pres./CEO MICHAEL RAPINO said. "For the quarter, global concert attendance is up 2% and ticket sales for TICKETMASTER increased 3%. We expect to have continued growth in ticket sales in the fourth quarter, as compared to last year, for both Concerts and TICKETMASTER. As a result, we currently anticipate growth across Concerts, Ticketing and Sponsorship & Advertising for the fourth quarter and full year."
