The soon-to-be-rechristened minor league baseball READING PHILLIES will also be in need of a new radio announcer, as BRIAN SELTZER, the club's radio voice for three seasons, has informed the team that he will not return for 2013, reports the READING EAGLE.
SELTZER cited conflicts with his role as postgame host for PHILADELPHIA 76ERS home game radio broadcasts on GREATER MEDIA Sports WPEN-A-F (97.5 THE FANATIC)/PHILADELPHIA for the decision. SELTZER also calls UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA men's basketball and football.
The R-PHILS, or whatever they will be called next season, were heard on CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WRAW-A/READING last season.
