'2012 CMT Artists Of The Year' Remain Top Secret Until December 8th Premiere

The “2012 CMT ARTISTS OF THE YEAR” will premiere on CMT at 11p (ET/PT) on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8th.

The 90 minute concert event will include wall-to-wall performances from this year’s biggest Country music stars, all the while celebrating Country music’s “Class of 2012.”

For the first time, CMT will be keeping the list of participating stars a secret until the night of the event. Previous “CMT Artists Of The Year” have included JASON ALDEAN, KENNY CHESNEY, LADY ANTEBELLUM, BRAD PAISLEY, TAYLOR SWIFT, CARRIE UNDERWOOD and ZAC BROWN BAND.

The “2012 CMT ARTISTS OF THE YEAR” event will be hosted by BIG MACHINE RECORDS group RASCAL FLATTS and “NASHVILLE” television star, HAYDEN PANETTIERE.
