Storm Update From WJVC PD Phathead

JVC BROADCASTING Country WJVC (MY COUNTRY 96.1)/LONG ISLAND PD PHATHEAD tells ALL ACCESS that the station has had to keep listeners abreast of many details over the past week in the wake of HURRICANE SANDY. LONG ISLAND was hit hard and citizens are still dealing with gas lines with 300-plus cars and many stations still out of gas all together.

Also, thousands are still without power and many coastal towns on LONG ISLAND have been flooded beyond repair.

PHATHEAD, while not hit directly at his own home (he said that his home was actually one of the 5% that didn’t lose power), saw his own parents have to deal with personal devastation as their home was lost to flooding and must now be gutted completely.
