CCM+E/ST. LOUIS has shaken up their cluster, pulling the plug on Classic Rock KBWX (THE BREW), moving Urban AC KMJM (MAJIC 105) from its 104.9 frequency to THE BREW's old home at 100.3, and launching Top 40/Rhythmic WILD 104 on MAJIC's old spot on the dial.
JOE HOLLEMAN in the POST-DISPATCH reports THE BREW's syndicated wakeup show of BOB & TOM is off the air.
"We're excited to introduce WILD 104.9 to ST. LOUIS listeners and offer new music programming for our local audience," said Pres./Market Mgr. BETH DAVIS. "The New MAJIC 100.3 will provide a better listening experience with a stronger and clearer signal reaching all of ST. LOUIS so they can get Today’s R&B and Old School where they live and work."
"WILD 104.9 is an exciting addition to the ST. LOUIS hit music landscape," said Regional Programming Manager TOMMY AUSTIN. "The new party hit music station is also a great partner to sister station, MAJIC 100.3 -- we definitely have hit music programming covered in ST. LOUIS."
AUSTIN tells ALL ACCESS that KBWX (WILD 104) is "looking for an APD/afternoon-drive talent."
