Ivey Is Now Quite Crispy

Last night (11/8) at the HOUSE OF BLUES in EL LAY, CCM+E SVPP and KIIS-FM/LOS ANGELES PD JOHN IVEY -- dressed in his bright dayglow orange best -- was duly roasted as this year's CITY OF HOPE's MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY GROUP's honoree.

This terrific event raised huge dollars -- in excess of $300,000 --  for the CITY OF HOPE.  This night of fun and charity was assembled by AZOFF/FRONTLINE MUSIC's RICHARD PALMESE, WARNER BROS. SVP/Promotion PETER GRAY and REPUBLIC EVP/Promotion & Artist Development JOEL KLAIMAN (who did an amazing video of "JOHN IVEY's GREATEST MISSES" (big hit songs IVEY wouldn't play) -- and they all got their shot at roasting IVEY, too.

MC'd by ISLAND DEF JAM MUSIC GROUP Pres./COO STEVE BARTELS, CCM+E Hot AC KBIG (104.3 MY FM) morning star VALENTINE, and afternoon delight DAMIEN FAHEY it was a who's who of heavyweights in radio and music that went out of their way to make IVEY feel as humorously uncomfortable as possible.
