Canton Radio Teams Up To Help Hurricane Sandy Survivors

CANTON, OH area radio stations including Top 40 WDJQ (Q92), AC WDPN-A, Christian WNPQ (THE LIGHT 95.9FM), Hot AC WHBC (MIX 94.1) and Talk sister WHBC-A are teaming up with the RED CROSS to benefit the victims of HURRICANE SANDY. From 5:30a-7p TODAY (11/9), all stations will broadcast live from the upper level parking lot of The PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME to collect cash and items needed.
The radio stations collectively are attempting to fill a 25-foot U-Hall truck with items SUCH AS clothing, diapers, blankets, pet food, trash bags, disinfectant, hazmat masks, generators, flashlights, batteries and gas cans. Cash donations will be accepted on location by the AMERICAN RED CROSS.
