KZLS Brings In 'Eggman' To Wake Up OKC

CHAMPLIN BROADCASTING Oldies KZLS/OKLAHOMA CITY is launching a live and local wakeup show with "EGGMAN IN THE MORNING." The show will replace SCOTT SHANNON's TRUE OLDIES format in the morning hours, but SHANNON will be heard the remainder of the day via satellite.

"We're going back to the way radio used to be," said EGGMAN. "Everything about the show will reflect the music we play, songs that people love but that nobody really plays any more. There will be a great deal of listener interaction with requests, dedications, etc. There'll be plenty of local information on the show and a lot of fun, with comedy bits, parody songs and much more. It’ll be something the entire family can listen to."

GM STEVEN JOHNS added, "We're very excited to have EGGMAN join OKC's True Oldies; he brings an infectious enthusiasm that's going to make this the most entertaining show in the Metro."
