CRN DIGITAL TALK RADIO donated $2,351 to Hurricane SANDY relief efforts after a week-long FACEBOOK campaign. The syndicator donated $1 per "like" on its FACEBOOK page to the storm relief campaign of the STEPHEN SILLER TUNNEL TO TOWERS FOUNDATION, named after a fireman who died on 9/11.
"This was an easy, quick, and free way people are helping those affected by Hurricane SANDY," said CEO MICHAEL J. HORN. "So many people stepped up so quickly. I've never been happier for others to help us give money away!"
"Finding a responsible, local charity helping victims truly in need was very important to us," added HORN. "The check is being issued from CRN -- but the donation's spirit and heart really comes from our listeners and fans. TOWERS TO TUNNELS will ensure those people's generous wishes help better others' lives immediately."
