CBS RADIO Sports WIP-F, Sports WIP-A, News KYW-A, Talk WPHT-A, and Oldies WOGL/PHILADELPHIA are partnering with LIVE NATION and COMCAST-SPECTACOR to offer a pair of tickets to the BOB DYLAN-MARK KNOPFLER concert at WELLS FARGO CENTER on NOVEMBER 19th to a limited number of $20 donors to the AMERICAN RED CROSS. The stations are raising funds for Hurricane SANDY relief efforts through the RED CROSS. Donations can be made at www.cbsphilly.com/Dylan.
“Our CBS RADIO stations will stay committed to helping those who lost homes, belongings and memories to Hurricane SANDY. We’re thrilled to be partnering with LIVE NATION and COMCAST-SPECTACOR and using as many assets as possible to help the recovery of our region,” said CBS RADIO PHILADELPHIA SVP/Market Manager MARC RAYFIELD.
“When we approached CBS RADIO to try and help in these tough times -- we were truly in awe of the graciousness,” added LIVE NATION PHILADELPHIA President GEOFF GORDON. “The idea of these artists donating this bank of tickets and letting us raise money for the AMERICAN RED CROSS really has a dual meaning. It provides an entry point for someone to donate and receive two tickets at the same time. It also sends the message that you can still enjoy music, which I think we all agree, has helped us through times in the past, now and will hold true to do so in the future. We are also grateful of our truly great relationship with COMCAST-SPECTACOR. Their participation made this relief effort possible.”
