'No Shave November' Update

Checking in on “NO SHAVE NOVEMBER” progress, COLUMBIA NASHVILLE artist CASEY JAMES and his band are still in the lead, having raised $4,440 in the ST. JUDE CHILDREN’s RESEARCH fundraiser so far.

MERCURY RECORDS NASHVILLE VP/Promotion DAMON MOBERLY is leading in the individual participant category at $3,005.

Music industry execs and radio personnel from across the country are participating in the beard-growing competition. By paying a $30 entry, the participants started NOVEMBER 1st with a clean-shaven face. Participants are not allowed to shave for the entire month, however, a third party can pay $30 to make that person shave. Another $30 donation can trump that request. At the end of the competition, prizes will be awarded in several different beard categories.
