As ALL ACCESS previous reported (NET NEWS 11/8), Country artist TRACY LAWRENCE is gearing up for his 7th annual “Mission Possible” turkey fry on TUESDAY (11/20).
As TRACY has done each year, he and some of his celebrity friends will gather in the NASHVILLE RESCUE MISSION parking lot that morning, and fry 500 turkeys to help feed NASHVILLE’s homeless during the THANKSGIVING holiday.
In addition to LAWRENCE’s 500 turkeys, the NASHVILLE RESCUE MISSION estimates that they will need an additional 500 more to serve over 5,000 meals next week. As of right now, there have been very few turkey donations.
TRACY LAWRENCE and the NASHVILLE RESCUE MISSION are asking for help from the public in the form of donations. Turkeys, cash and clothing can be dropped of at the mission, located at 639 Lafayette Street in NASHVILLE.
LAWRENCE recently released a documentary-style video to show how important the NASHVILLE RESCUE MISSION’s work is. That can be viewed here.
