DEAN KATTARI has joined CUMULUS/SAN FRANCISCO as Image Production Dir. and PlaySpace engineer. KATTARI comes from AUDIX MICROPHONES in OREGON, where he was Audio/Video Marketing Coordinator. This will be his second stint at the station.
Dir./Programming DENNIS CONSTANTINE said, "DEAN is a genius, in that his skills and level of expertise reach out into many different directions. I'm loving having him here, and KFOG and THE BONE already sound better between the songs with his production expertise. And the bands and musicians who come through the PlaySpace love the fact that he’s a musician and knows exactly what they need."
KATTARI said, "I'm happy to be back at the mighty KFOG and working again with DENNIS; and my evil twin is stoked to be working with MADDEN to help make KSAN (107.7 THE BONE) sound bigger and boney-er. For me, this job is a perfect combination of creative audio production and recording cool bands for the PlaySpace!"
KATARI’s radio skills were honed at The KOTR (THE OTTER)/SAN LUIS OBISPO. He spent several years at KFOG in the mid-‘noughties, as well as on-air, programming, music and engineering responsibilities at KRSH/SANTA ROSA, KMAX and KBWF/SAN FRANCISCO, and most recently MD and evening deejay at KINK/PORTLAND, OR.
