CUMULUS MEDIA Talk WABC-A/NEW YORK and GERALDO RIVERA’s live broadcast has now brought in close to $200,000 for the SALVATION ARMY HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF EFFORT. GERALDO and his team broadcast live from a hurricane disaster relief site in ISLAND PARK, NY.
TODAY during GERALDO’s show, self-made billionaire STEWART RAHR called into the program and pledged an additional $50,000 to the SALVATION ARMY. Last MONDAY, RAHR contributed $50,000 to this important cause.
"Too often successful people forget the struggles of others. Not so the philanthropist we lovingly call RAH RAH," RIVERA said. "He is thoughtful, enormously generous, and deeply compassionate. And everyone involved in raising money for victims of Hurricane SANDY deeply appreciates RAH RAH, the one and only."
