NEXTMEDIA Active Rock WXQR(ROCK105.5)/GREENVILLE has named TINA SMASH to fill the PD position vacated last month by WES STYLES, who left to program TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Active Rock WQBK/ALBANY, NY (NET NEWS 10/8).

SMASH joined NEXTMEDIA in 2007 and will continue as afternoon-drive host. Prior to joining NEXTMEDIA she was PD/middays at Rock WRQR/WILMINGTON, NC and also had stints for CCM+E/YOUNGSTOWN, OH doing nights on KISS-FM and APD/MD and middays on Rocker WNCD.
